Dr. Andrew Spiguzza, DDS believes in a patient-first philosophy when it comes to providing dental care. He understands firsthand that not every patient is alike, and listens intently in order to provide the best care achievable to every patient. Dr. Spiguzza is extremely proficient when it comes to working within the confines of patient’s individual needs. Whether it is fear and anxiety or financial constraints, Dr. Spiguzza works tirelessly to provide a solution that satisfies his patients oral health needs without sacrificing quality to do so.
Drawing from his expertise in cosmetic, general, and preventative dentistry, Dr. Spiguzza has been serving patients across South Carolina as the founder and dentist at Carolina Dental Care for over 31 years. With experience in periodontics, dental implants, neuromuscular dentistry, and oral and maxillofacial surgery, Dr. Spiguzza is proud to provide high-quality dental care to both adults and children.
From teeth whitening to treating TMJ, Dr. Spiguzza believes in personalized treatments for every single patient, addressing their dental history and needs through each procedure. Not only does Dr. Spiguzza prioritize helping patients achieve optimal oral health, but he also takes pride in allowing them to achieve a new and improved smile.
Dr. Spiguzza completed his Bachelor’s degree in Biology at Indiana University in Bloomington, IN. While at Indiana, he was on the dean’s list for his entire tenure in his undergraduate studies. Dr. Spiguzza was a member of the Sigma Chi fraternity where he served as the chair of philanthropy for over 120 members. As philanthropy chair, Dr. Spiguzza organized events and coordinated members to give back to the community in numerous charities throughout campus.
After completing his undergraduate studies, Dr. Spiguzza completed his master’s degree in biology through Purdue University. Shortly after receiving his master’s degree, Dr. Spiguzza attended dental school at the University of Missouri - Kansas City. At UMKC, Dr.Spiguzza received the McDavid Dental Scholarship for academic Excellence. Dr. Spiguzza enjoys spending time with family, playing golf, and cooking.
